Your photo of Mr. Clark brought back fond memories of my 5th grade at Bedford El in Westport (~1973) where Mr. Clark encouraged us explore our creative side without judgement. After a strong storm, he brought in a large thick salvaged phone cable that we stripped to the varies colored wires inside, then we made a wire circus full of animals, trapeeze and other circus items. Using a movie camera, we made claymation films and outdoor stop action films. I remember that we were to bring him wrappers of Clark candy bars that he pasted on a wall in the art room. I recall him encouraging me to participate in the school newspaper "the Inky Press" where I was the Jokes page editor. I credit Mr. Clark as a significant influence in my artistic pursuits.

Thanks for the kind words! As I was unraveling on Friday morning, I skipped the wine and went straight for the Irish coffee (only kidding...Hi Mom!) The way I see it, by knitting the sweater twice, I'm getting the most knitting pleasure out of this yarn that can be gotten.

Welcome back to blogging. I missed seeing what you were creating. Too bad about the sweater. Did you have to have a glass of wine before unwinding all that knitting? It is a beautiful sweater, can't wait to see it finished. Hope you are doing well and are enjoying spring.

Hi Jennifer, would you be willing to share your toe up sport sock pattern? I am just learning to make socks using the magic loop and would like to make running sock. Thanks for your help.

Hi there,

I was hoping to start a felted hat pattern, and was admiring your second hat... do you have any more detail on how you made that jem, or was it just a happy accident??

Cheers,
Liz

Any chance you have notes on how you made hat? Did you use "loop" needle or reg. circular?
Any ideas where I could find hat for Norway/Sweden/England/Italy?

I agree with Karen.....is there any chance you jotted down notes on the hat YOU made? Also.....did you use regular circular needle or the "loop" needle?

Also.....do you know where I could find patterns for other countries (I.E. Norway/Sweden/England/Italy)? Thought it'd be nice to have a hat from all of our family nationalities.
