I knit, I sew, I quilt, weave, crochet, garden, caffeinate, and puncutate. Most of this costs more than the food I eat, except the punctuation. That’s mostly free.
I’ve been knitting since television shows were filmed in black and white. I was hungry for color. I tried prepackaged yarn, but after cooking up a few batches of hand-dyed fiber in my own kitchen, I realized that nothing is more satisfying than a home-dyed fiber fresh from the dyepot.
