I’m not sure where all the days are going…
Chappy’s done and I’ll be writing up the pattern shortly.
Crocheting this pattern by M.K. Carroll a couple of times filled one afternoon.
We went to the NY/NJ Pen show and came home with bits to rehab a few old pens. I also fell in love with this from Frank Tedesco.
This pen is a ‘purse pen’ and is much smaller than a standard fountain pen.
Frank Tedesco a wonderful man and a fountain of vintage pen information (pun intended).
My children were going on an archeological dig in their father’s attic. They found a box that had stuff I saved from my childhood. Most of the items are from 1972, including a scrapbook. Not leading an exciting life, I chose to catalog all of the minutiae of my daily life. Proof of my life-long love affair with fountain pens was found.
Also,
the reason why I know all the words to “What’s New, Pussycat?” ensuring my popularity at parties.
This is a photograph of my art teacher from Bedford Elementary School in Westport, CT. I knew Mr. Clark was the coolest person I’d met in my young life and it is he whom I credit with inspiring my addiction to creating things. When I was in 5th grade, he began a photography club where each of us was given and taught to use a Diana F camera. Depending upon your viewpoint, you can thank or blame Mr. Clark.
