On New Year’s Eve, 2006, I was sewing bags. I sewed a knitting bag for myself. I sewed Alle a new book bag. She wanted a bag in the style of Audrey Hepburn. It was black and decorated with polka dotted ribbon and black tulle. I sewed Mark a bat bag with detachable baseball bag. It had grommets and was sewn in a heavy canvas. At the time, I remembered that someone once told me that whatever you were doing on New Year’s Eve, set the stage for the coming year.
I guess it could be true.
Here are some of the bags I made in 2007. I seem to have a fascination with ways to tote stuff around. It’s kinda funny because I hate carrying anything, particularly a purse. I do like to have my knitting with me, however, and I’ve fallen in love all over again with fabric. A new sewing machine came into my life as a result of all of this. 2007 it seems was the year of the bag for me.
I was playing board games by the fire with my family this year. I wonder what 2008 will bring?

Wow! All lovely!
Depends, what were you doing Monday night?
