If you can’t knit, code it.

I still have my original blog up in all it’s traditional css form. I want to use wordpress and I want all my bells and all my whistles working well. It’s taking a while to import my posts from blogger with all of the customizing I’ve done. What I’ve noticed is that all of my comments are gone, however I did manage to get the site meter back. This is all the fault of Jennifer Garner. I was hooked on Season 4 of Alias (didn’t you scream during that last scene???). I had to find out if…well, I don’t want to spoil it for you, but I had to know about Vaughn. So I turned to TelevisionWithoutPity. God bless twop. Anyway…I was reading the synopsis and I really liked the writing style. This led me to check out the author’s blog which is created in wordpress. But you knew that. I hadn’t ever heard of wordpress (having spent my time wishing and hoping to convince my web hosts to let me please, please try typepad. How many blogging experiences can a girl turn down before it’s time to just get a new host? So the migration began, a few files here and a few files there until, finally, I’ve got most of my stuff here, sans a few photos (every photo from 2/17/04 and earlier is, well, somewhere else. And all of my apostrophes used in any but the latest posts are little boxes. But really, no one cares.) In the words of Adam (of Mythbusters fame) I think I need a cookie.
